Arranger, producer, and bassist Esther Rojas is considered one of the most recognized innovators in the world music field. Her musical concept is a result of the mixture of her Latin roots, the multi-culturality to which she has been exposed during her travels and residencies around the world, and her love for contemporary music.

Her eclectic taste has contributed to the creation of unimagined sonorities to well-established standards by mixing traditional rhythms with modern harmonies.

In 2013, Esther was the co-arranger, co-producer, musical director, and bassist for the three time Grammy and 16 Latin Grammy Award winning artist Alejandro Sanz´s performance at the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas (NV). In 2014, she led a group of musicians to represent Berklee College of Music at the Next Generation Festival in Monterrey (CA), and was the arranger, musical director, and bassist for The Future of the Americas Summit organized by Clinton Foundation in Miami (FL). More recently, she fulfilled the same multilayered role for the most representative artist of Colombian traditional music, the legendary Totó La Momposina, in a concert at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston (2015).

Upon completion of a successful assignment as the key Bass faculty at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of music in Chennai, India (2016), Esther is currently working as part of the faculty at Rojas School of Music in the Metroplex area (Texas) here she teaches piano, violin, bass, and production among others. She also is the Conductor of the Coppell Academy’s Intermediate Orchestra and of the Founders Academy’s Band.

Ms. Rojas has been conducting workshops, master classes, private lessons, and ensemble classes in India, Sri Lanka, Colombia, and the US. Her contributions included private and group bass lessons, ear training and sight reading that have a strong musical diversity, and ensembles that range styles from R&B, Pop, Cuban, Brazilian, and latin American genres. She is a well-established full time academician helping students nurture their musical dreams.
